It's Pitti time again, and there's the usual mix of the well-dressed and the overdressed.
I'll leave it up to you to decide which camp I fall into.
One thing's for certain, there are more photographers than ever this year.
On me: double-breasted Lesser flannel suit, Anderson & Sheppard; boots, Edward Green Top Drawer; polo neck, Trunk; doctor's bag, Alfred Dunhill.

Is it possible to be overdressed at Pitti? Additionally, what exactly goes on there?
ReplyDeleteIn terms of good taste, yes.
DeleteIt is a trade show, so it is mostly for buyers of men's shops around the world to see new producers and make arrangements with existing ones.
I am not sure. Since there is no firm line for overdressing and good taste and everybody tends to set the line according to himself/herself (in addition to differences between cultures), it is only natural that all the international visitors of Pitti do not look the same.

That is a beautiful suit you are wearing in the picture. The roll neck flatters you, it makes you look younger!
ReplyDeleteYou look good. One question: is the turtleneck black, dark brown or another color?
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's navy
Delete2nd pic. Cargo pants with an odd jacket? Um... wow.
